Forgery on the Fourth - November 2017

This month's inspiration kit is the November 2016, "Emerson" kit by Citrus Twist. You can find several add ons as well as details of the main kit on the kit page here. But here are some shots of the main kit.

I see veneers, cork, words and simple page patterns that could be forged for your own kits or even some of the die cut shapes. What will you pick out for your own selection?

Let's see what the Master Forgers have drummed up for us:

Leslie loved the patterned wood veneers. See her post HERE

Guest Designer Anne made some beautiful words using some white foam, her Big Shot and some pretty word dies. Easy peasy but oh so lovely!

Kelly found two videos about how to make your own cork embellishments:

Lisa - as you might have come to expect - had some more and less successful attempts at the cork elements.

Here are the ones that turned out well but you can find the highs and lows of this experiment over on her blog here!

Don't forget to come back again on 6th November for some mini-kit inspiration as well as the challenges on 12th November and 18th November as well as the ever-entertaining, Scribbles from My Scrap Studio on 24th November.

If you create any of your own forgeries, make sure you share with us! We love to see your creations and projects.  You can do this by using the Link-Up page here on the blog, posting in the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Facebook Community Group or on Instagram (find us @counterfeitchallenge and share with #counterfeitchallenge )
